The Miracle Maker (2000). Using a mix of animation techniques, this movie shows the day-to-day life of Jesus and his followers depicted with stop-motion puppets. Ralph Fiennes is the voice of Jesus.

Jesus (1999). This is a two-part television movie that portrays Jesus as a vulnerable human who is becoming aware of his destiny but struggling with romantic feelings.

The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). Directed by Martin Scorsese, this movie portrays the life of Jesus as he is subjected to every form of temptation that we all face such as lust, doubt and fear.

Jesus Christ Superstar (1973) is based on the weeks leading up to Jesus’ Crucifixion. It is movie adaptation of the rock opera of the same name and includes some really great and memorable songs such as” Superstar” and “I don’t know how to love him”.
